Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer 2 Recap

Hello fellow moviegoers!
This previous weekend was definitely one to be excited about! We got several awesome trailers teasing movies coming out in the upcoming year. Widely considered the best of these was the second Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. So is this trailer really as exciting as everyone says?
Picture
This trailer was incredibly exciting! It starts off with just a simple black screen. Then you hear that iconic Star Wars song "Binary Sunset". The moment I heard that song, I immediately got an enormous smile on my face  It then fades in to show a speeder racing across a desert planet. (This is confirmed not to be Tatooine, but rather a new planet named Jakku). As the shot pans over, you see the best shot of the entire trailer, a crashed Star Destroyer.

The rest of the trailer continues and you see shots of the new villain, Kylo Ren. If the rumors going around are true, he is a Sith relic-hunter. He travels the galaxy looking for Sith relics. This rumor is supported with a shot of someone holding the burnt Vader helmet.
One of the best things about this trailer is that it really shows you more of the new characters. This new trilogy is going to be based around these new characters, and it looks like this film is really the passing of the torch from one generation to the next.
You hear a voice-over from Luke explaining how his family has the force and it ends with him saying "You have that power too". There is a fairly good chance that he is talking to Daisy Ridley's character. Rumor has it that she and Kylo Ren are the children of Han and Leia. If this is true, it could make for an incredibly emotional lightsaber duel between siblings at the end. Keep in mind this is all rumor and speculation, so it could be completely false.
There are so many shots in this trailer that just scream Star Wars. There is the one where the Millennium Falcon is flying through the crashed Star Ship. Also you see Oscar Isaac's character, Po Dameron, flying a group of X-Wings over a lake. John Boyega and Daisy Ridley seem to be running away from a Tie Fighter shooting at them. There are more shots of Boyega in a Stormtrooper outfit, further supporting the idea that he is a rogue Stormtrooper.
The most exciting one by far is where you see Han and Chewie on the Millennium Falcon, and finally it ends with Han saying "Chewie, we're home". Goosebumps....

While I do want to keep talking about this trailer, I don't want to spoil the entire thing. So if you haven't seen it, go watch it! What are you waiting for?!?! If you have seen it, what do you think about it? Let me know by commenting on this post!
