Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is directed by Edward Zwick, and it stars Tom Cruise. It is a sequel to the 2012 film, Jack Reacher.
This film looked as if it could be one of those really over-the-top action films that are simply a lot of fun. It’s not that. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is a boring, uninteresting, and simply bad movie. Forget, "Never Go Back", you should never go in the first place.
It doesn’t even fit into the “so-bad-it’s-good” category. It’s a ridiculous movie that makes no sense, features bad clichés, and feels much longer than it actually is.
All of this movie’s flaws trace back to its script. It isn’t well written in any way, shape, or form. It feels like the type of movie you’d find in a $2 bargain bin at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere.
Probably one of the most annoying things about this movie is the constant running. The protagonists are running everywhere. Even if their trying to be discrete, or if no one is chasing them, they’re running. It’s laughable, but not in a good way.
Don’t bother seeing Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Its title makes no sense, it’s cliché, and it’s not entertaining.
