Interstellar Movie Review

Hello fellow moviegoers!
Interstellar is a movie directed by the legendary Christopher Nolan, starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Michael Caine. The basic plot of this movie is that the Earth is dying. Almost all of it's natural resources have been used up, they are can only really grow corn, and they are basically living in a dust bowl. When Cooper (McCanaughey) discovers a secret NASA base, they recruit him to lead a mission of interstellar travel to find a new world for the human race to live on.
This movie has been getting a lot of mixed reviews. Some people didn't like it at all, some loved it, and others were kind of neutral. As for myself, I loved this movie. This movie is one of those movies, that you leave the theatre with wonder. It really makes you think about what could actually be out there. What have we not discovered yet? The story in this movie is fantastic. The ending has really divided peoples opinions but, it just really worked for me. While I will not spoil the movie for you, you really have to pay attention in this movie. You have to think.
But that may not be as good a thing as you would assume. I have found that the more I think about this movie now, the more I can find little plot holes in it. I will say that towards the end, something happens to McConaughey that ties the whole movie together. But if you think about it, some of the things it ties together don't fit.
The acting in this movie is tremendous. Matthew McConaughey was brillant and the McConaissance is definitely in full swing at this point. Some of the scenes he delivers are some of the best, most realistic acting I have ever seen! Anne Hathaway is always great, and this movie is no exception. She really brought her character to life, even though the writing kind of changed her character out of the blue about half-way through. Finally, Jessica Chastain was amazing!! If she does not at least get an Oscar nomination for her performance in this movie, there is definitely something wrong with the Academy!
While there were a few little plot issues in Interstellar, I still found the movie extremely thrilling! I can understand why the ending didn't work for some people, but for me, it was fantastic! I absolutely loved this movie and you should definitely check it out sometime within the next week!
