Could Bradley Cooper Still Play A LIve Action Superhero?

Hello, fellow moviegoers!
Bradley Cooper is one of the most popular actors out there right now. He has been hitting it out of the park with all of his performances and career choices of late. Think about it. In the past five years, he has been in The Hangover, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, Guardians of the Galaxy, and American Sniper, just to name a few. But he has yet to actually show his face in any of the new superhero films. He voiced everyone’s favorite talking rodent, Rocket, in Guardians of the Galaxy, but could we still see him suit up? Who could he play?

Honestly, it's not that far-fetched of an idea. It is still a possibility that we could actually see him in a superhero movie! Some people would say that his voice is too recognizable and that we would just hear Rocket the entire time. Need you be reminded that a majority of people forgot it was Bradley Cooper voicing him? If it weren't for his name being put on all the marketing for Guardians of the Galaxy, most people wouldn't even know. There are so many things that you can do with a voice, I don't believe that is holding him back. He could take a note out of Vin Diesel's book and play a character that doesn't talk much, such as Black Bolt. (Note: Vin Diesel's involvement as Black Bolt in The Inhumans still isn't official)
Now it is safe to assume, that if he did appear in a superhero film it would be a Marvel film because they have him under contract. Sorry, D.C. But who would he be? Maybe he could join team up with Vin Diesel again in The Inhumans (again, still not official).
Personally, I'd like to see him play a villain. Imagine, Bradley Cooper, one of the most talented actors out there right now, as an antagonist. He usually plays the hero in whatever movie he is in. I think it would be an interesting and different career choice for Cooper.
The real question is whether or not Cooper would even want to play a live-action superhero/villain. I think the answer to that is indefinitely no. He seems to be focused on playing more juicy dramatic characters right now. He really wants to win that Oscar. He’s come close, being nominated the past three years for Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and American Sniper. I don’t think it’s going to be long until he actually wins.
I do think it’s going to be a while until we actually see him in a comic-book film. Recording your voice for a character takes a lot less time than actually having to be on set to film every day. It most likely took a couple of weeks at most for all of his lines for Rocket to be recorded. He undoubtedly earned a big paycheck for that too. So, I think he’s fine where he is at now.
