Batman V SUperman: Dawn of Justice Trailer Recap

Hello fellow moviegoers!
Not only did we get that great Star Wars trailer this weekend, but also the very first trailer for the highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In case you didn't know, this trailer was supposed to be released on Monday, following its premiere in select IMAX theatres. But, somebody leaked it early and WB was trying their best to keep it offline. That really didn't work out, because the trailer caught fire the second it hit the internet. Fortunately for us, they ended up just posting the full thing on YouTube as a result.

One of the things that is dividing people on this new DC Cinematic Universe, is that they are going for a very dark, and realistic tone. That tone really stands out in this trailer, and I think it's awesome! It starts out with a voice-over asking "Is it really that surprising that the most powerful man in the world, should be a figure of controversy?".
It then starts slowly zooming in on a dark statue of Superman while there is a collage of different voices, and shots of Superman doing heroic stuff. The voices however are very interesting. Some are defending Superman, most of them are not. One of the cool things is that a few of the voices are actual people, such as Neil Degrasse Tyson. If you listen very carefully, you can even hear Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor say "We know better now don't we? Devils don't come from hell beneath us, no they come from the sky".
All of this leads up to hearing a protest chanting "Go home! Go home! Go home!". While you hear that, it is revealed that somebody has spray-painted "False God" on the chest of the Superman statue.
This is where the trailer turns focus to Batman. You see Bruce Wayne standing, staring at something. Alfred is speaking, he says "That's how it starts, the fever, the rage. The feeling of...powerlessness that turns good men, cruel". As he says that it is revealed that it was the Batsuit in it's case that Bruce was staring at. Then it proceeds shows a bunch of shots of Batman doing his thing, being all sorts of awesome. Finally you see him in his armored suit, facing Superman. He says "Tell me, do you bleed? You will". Fade to black, and the title appears.
Overall this trailer was everything I wanted it to be and more. I honestly cannot think of any major problems I had with the trailer. Besides the fact that the movie doesn't come out until 2016!!
There were so many shots in this trailer that gave me goosebumps! "False God" being sprayed on the statue, somebody reaching out to Superman as he floats in the sky, Batman walking out of a wreckage, but the king of all of them was the end. I honestly cannot wait for this movie! I am pretty sure I have talked to almost everybody who will listen about it! This trailer is incredible!
