About Me

Hello, fellow moviegoers!
If you clicked on this you must be wondering a little bit about me, the author of this blog. I won't go on too long, but I can tell you the basics. My name is Kyle Kruse, and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am currently attending the University of Nebraska - Lincoln to pursue a degree in Journalism and a minor in Film Studies. My overall career goal is to become a successful movie critic. I started Kruzereviews in November 2014 as a way to really hone my skills before I potentially jump into a career as a writer/film critic. I was published by the Fremont Tribune for a year and a half. I currently write movie reviews and other articles for The Daily Nebraskan.
A few of my favorite movies (because it's hard to pick just one) are; The Lord of the Rings, Inception, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Star Wars, The Dark Knight, and The Breakfast Club. Christopher Nolan and Robert Zemeckis are some of my favorite directors. There are so many more, but that would require an entire article in itself.
